Heat Wave

Is that my new BH Costemtics highlighter or the natural glow courtesy of the blazing unmerciful star we call the sun? Honestly, it's probably a bit of both since I took this on the HOTTEST day of the Canadian year (really. it broke a record) and had no clue what I was getting myself into until about the 3rd or 4th picture out of the shade where my face proceeded to melt like a hot fudge sunday.

Eyes - BH Cosmetics Galaxy Palette $12 Lips / Limecrimes Teddy Bear Matte Liquid Lipstick $20
Just my luck too as this was also the day I decided to do a full makeup look to review for you guys. It was really put to the test and held up a hell of a lot better than I thought it would so brownie points for BH Cosmetics Galaxy Palette for holding it down on my sweaty fountain face. I used my Real Techniques brushes for the whole process, I got them for 13 dollars at my local Winners.

Cheek Highlight - BH Cosmetics Wild and Radiant Palette $6
I used the dark purple shades Prometheus and Aphrodite for the outer corners of my eyes. then went in with the shade Sun on the lids and Earth for my under eyes and a lower wing. I then used the lightest blue/gray shade in the palette, Meteor, in the inner corners of my eyes for a nice highlight.

peep that highlight tho

Septum Ring - New Steel $17
Choker - Hot Topic

Flats - Ardenes
Crop Top - H&M $13

I got a little elephant done in henna on my arm there, its almost all faded now :(
Skirt - Thrifted $9
Sunglasses - Ardenes $12

This outfit is actually a throwback to a past #kaydeedaily I did when I first started posting outfits on my Instagram KaydeeDunn last June. I was so lucky to find this skirt thrifting because of the 2 green things in my black and white closet this will always be my favourite. It's sad I wasn't able to find a different top to match it after more than a year but they just fit together so well that I feel like I didn't have much of a choice.

The same outfit I posted on my instagram for #kaydeedaily last June
I believe this was day 6 of my 30 day outfit challenge that I set for myself that summer. I'm glad I got to change it up a bit and hopefully did the look justice. I'm thinking of bringing back more looks I did for my OG #kaydeedaily posts. There were so many pictures I feel got left out that turned out great for each day I did and I know I can do better than my backyard brick background now. As always, thanks for sticking with me and look out for a new post in the very near future.
